Just red X's on your pics Greg but I went over to Secret Projects and had a look. Never knew the 222 had a V/STOL version! I was thinking along the lines of chucking a couple of Harriers under the wings.

Yup! No joy for me either!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Corrected - try now.

No Merlin is a real bummer but I've got to say I'm really excited about the C-27, its like waiting for the sweet shop to open when I was a kid, I hope they aren't to expensive when they come out.  ;D ;D ;D

No 1/48 Merlin :(

Hard to Say Nev, not listed in their new issues for 2009, but may still be carried over in the same way lots of the Airfix stuff were. Afterall the Italeri Hawk finally appeared last year after being in limbo following the issue of the Airfix version.

It will be, prices are going up anyway, but its also listed as a premium edition, so expect photo book, possibly Resin or etch as well. On the good side the detail in the kit should be really good and hopefully engineered to allow a later issue of the Fiat G222

I was wondering the same thing - ie they've got wind that someone like Hasegawa or Revell have one in the works and have postponed it.
