Great to see it re-released.  Sounds like the author of the article is itching to get into the whiif game too!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

£30 for that monster is a pretty good price, IMO, regardless of the kit's shortcomings. Wish I had the space for one...

Anigrand do a resin kit, but it'd be nice to see one in injection.

Well they're about the same size, and in this pic I've shortened my Concorde by 2 inches:

The Kinetic F-84F Thunderstreak has been released under the Italeri brand name as kit # 2682 .  modellversium.de has a review of this kit available at this link: Italeri 1/48th scale kit# 2682, F-84F Thunderstreak.

Kit comparisons:

Revell of Germany F-84F kit review.
IPMS Deutschland Revell of Germany F-84F kit review.
Modeling Madness Monogram (Revell) F-84F kit review.
The Monogram F-84F was offered as two different kits.  One kit included the Mk7 nuclear store, four fuel tanks plus a four-bottle RATO assembly.  The other F-84F kit included a pair of 1000 pound general purpose bombs and four fuel tanks.  Both of the Monogram kits also included the Mk7 nuclear store transport dolley with suggestions in the kit instructions to use it for displaying the fuel tanks or the Mk7 depending on which kit you had.  With the exception of the gun bay in the Kinetic kit there appears to be very little difference between the Revell (Monogram) and the Kinetic (Italeri) kits except for the price.

Bruce Craig has a few choice words about the Italeri (Kinetic) F-84F in his in-box review Modeling Madness

That Italeri Intruder looks a great kit in the box.  Never built one but I have several in the stash.  It looks VERY similar to the great Fujimi kit, except the Italieri one has the wingfolds whereas Fujimi did the seperate slats.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....
