This one has snuck up on me - Italeri have released a 1/35 Carro Armato P 40

Lots of whiffing potential there!

Saw that advertised Nev, when I see it in the flesh

Modellversium.de has uploaded an in box review of Italeri's latest resin accessory set.  This is the WW II German Aircraft Weapons I (1/72nd scale kit# 26101).

The set contains 31 pieces in the following quantities:

2 x 900 ltr drop tanks
2 x SD 500 kg Bomb
2 x PD 500 kg Bomb
4 x SC 50 kg Bomb
1 x ER 4 small bomb carrier adapter
4 x AB 36 cluster bomb
1 x SC 1800 kg Satan
1 x PC 1400 kg Bomb
2 x SC 500-Bomb
2 x AB 250 kg cluster bomb
2 x SC 250 kg Bomb with fuze extender

High price aside, the set does provide some nicely detailed 1/72nd scale weapons and drop tanks for your next WWII Luftwaffe project or your next WHIF project with a bit of imagineering .

Has anybody built the new Italeri 1/48th Fw-190A-8 please? I'm sort of tempted but put off by the £30 price tag. Ok it's got some fret in it as well I know.

Doesn't matter I bought the Edward one at half the price.

The 1/32nd scale Kinetic F-86F kit was recently released under the Italeri brand name as F-86F Sabre (1/32nd scale kit # 2501) which is now avaialble as an in box review on modellversium.de with a rather extensive series of images showing the parts and decals for this kit.

Why is the Italeri boxing £10 more expensive than the Kinetic one?

Probably to cover the cost of the (Cartograph ?) decals, Nev.... Bit of a liberty though, I agree.

Are Italeri releasing one of these? I likes this, and I don't have to turbo prop it either, which is nice
Cheers,
Chris.

Who knew the Japanese and French also operated them?  Springs to mind that someone (looks at Radish) could do a double double bluff.  Build it as real foreign operator, but tell everyone its a whiff.......

I think the French markings were used on a plane from a German raider early in the war. The raiders operating in the far east had Hinomaru to avoid friendly fire problems.

Most interesting. The captions speak about embarkment on the auxiliary cruisers (Hilfskreuzer) HSK-3 Widder and HSK-4 Thor, HSK being the acronym for Handelsstörkreuzer (merchant raider). Maybe false flag jobs?
