Perhaps, as they also have a 1:48 EA-6B listed - as we all know, there is a strong and well established tie-in between Italeri and Revell and Monogram & Revell so ex-Monogram kits in Italeri boxes is not inconceivable, but as I recall the wings of the old Monogram F-111 originated in the Jurassic era Aurora kit.... I'm certain somebody here will (politely) correct me if I'm wrong on that one.

Perhaps more important are the re-release of the:

1/72nd f-104G...with additions for the RF-104G? Which configuration?
1/72nd F-100D....a stupendously brilliant kit.
Both were early releases by ESCI.

Aaaah, ESCI.  Models mostly way ahead of their time in production terms, I seem to recall.  And mostly excellent.   ;D ;D

Italeri are asking for feedback from modellers on their website.

They want to know what you would like to see them produce in the future, and what your 3 favourite kits in their catalogue are.  Hmmm, 1/35 Staghound... *thinks*

Aye AMX, Italian Service EH101, 1/35 Farmile D MGB  ;D.

BTW From Nurnberg it appears that the 1/35th Vosper will be the 70ft boat more common design similar to the Lend Lease Russian boat Revell market as a British Vosper in 72nd.

Oh Bad news for Nurnberg is i didnt't see from the photos any sign of the C-27 yet and the F-35B Lightning II kit looks like they adapted their inaccurate X-35 kit rather than starting from fresh  :banghead:. Thankfully it looks like Hasegawa and Academy will also be doing decent F-35 kits as well !

They are doing an AMX.........unfortunately it's a 1/100th easy kit you get with some card game and a Jigsaw. http://data3.primeportal.net/models/thomas_voigt4/italeri/images/italeri_07_of_43.jpg

Really can't understand why they don't make them in 1/72nd and 1/48th, I'd get the the 72nd one by the truck load!

CyberModeler has uploaded an in-box review of the former ESCI now Italeri Kfir C1/C2 (1/48th scale kit #2688) With the exception of being molded in a more user friendly light gray plastic this is the same kit that was originally offered by ESCI in horrible silver plastic.

(click on image or the html to go to the review)

The only improvements I can see beside the gray plastic is that there are now markings for four different aircraft vice two in the original ESCI kit.  Anyone that is keen on building a model of the Kfir in 1/48th scale is up for a real challenge.  If you are at all familiar with the previous Mirage type kits from ESCI that are now offered by Italeri you will already be aware of the very basic cockpit that rivals the old Fujimi Mirage III and Mirage IIIR kits for simplicity.
