That does look nice ! Not a big fan of the aero....but I'm getting there ! Love the shape of the underside, and the full depth weapons bay. Also nice to add a few more JDAMs to the stash !

I know this might be heresy but I'm starting to like the look of the beast. It's quirky enough to have some character to my eye. Know idea about it's capabilities but that's for another day

That's exactly where I'm at Chris....leave the arguments out of it, and the aeroplane is really growing on me ! Might be that really nice box art too....

Italeri just posted artwork for a Hawker Typhoon due this year, I assume it's 1/48th?

For 20 GBP more you can get the Airfix 1/24 kit  ---- twice as big if the Italeri kit is 1/48 scale ---

Interesting one; is this Italeri's own mould or have they done a deal with Heller?

That looks super, no need to use the ancient Airfix kit for the late model hulled 'boats any more. But it'll be more expensive of course.

Any bets on them doing a Mk V?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Wow that Sunderland does look great, but agree with Kit that it will likely cost a fortune with the photo-etched/brass bits etc.

Not in the near future as the V is earmarked for their Czech partners on the project MPM/Special Hobby

Nice to see the CL-415 out again. Maybe buy one more. Or wait for the radial bird so I can do a Newfie one.

That pic at the bottom of the Sunderland review is awesome.....such a neat looking bird !

Which if I understand correctly is well under way

Also wonder what the new Italeri III's panel lines are like. I'm not normally bothered by such things but when I got my Mk I I was surprised by them and they reminded me of some die cast models
