They have the preview of their Sunderland III up on their website

http://www.italeri.com/news_scheda.asp?idNews=415

That looks super, no need to use the ancient Airfix kit for the late model hulled 'boats any more. But it'll be more expensive of course.

Any bets on them doing a Mk V?

Not in the near future as the V is earmarked for their Czech partners on the project MPM/Special Hobby

Close counts...........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Anyone noticed the Glider tug Sterling on their 2014 list?

That's make it easy to do other whiff "gunless" versions, such as:

An AEW one with this kit : http://www.lonewulfmodels.co.uk/view_product.php?c_id=21&sc_id=51&p_id=3130

A post-war MPA version with belly radar and a MAD boom

A wartime/early post-war SAR version with an air-dropped lifeboat

Yeap it certainly has potential, but would have been nice to see the Bomber version appear as that was due last year

That's listed for a 2014 release as well!

The AB-412 in Carabineri markings is now out:

Not a new kit, but AFAIK, it's the only source of a 4-blade Huey rotor for whiffery.

Spey_Phantom

IIRC, the Revell rebox of the Italeri1/72  Bell 212/UH-1N, also contains the parts for a 4-bladed Huey, but not the higher rotor cowling.

Cheers again Nils: I got an AB-212 cheap and you're right: it does have the 4-blade parts as well.

The following are all now in at Hannants:

NARSES2

That Jaguar looks very Sovietish from that angle. Give it a different set of exhausts and it would look even more so
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Not to see the new Stirling, not so keen on the Price however, certainly feels like its at least £10 overpriced for what you get  :banghead:
