New in at Hannants. Looks like it's an old mould that's been refurbished/upgraded plus photo-etch:

This looks fairly big and impressive:

Isn't this basically the same vehicle as the British Army's Panther? I know the Panther's based on it but I don't know what the differences are:

Yup the CANT is the old tool and if it's been refurbished to the same degree as some of the others they've done this to then don't expect to see much difference from the original toolings. I've got a couple in the stash (were they ESCI ? or Supermodel ?) and they are good for their day and make up quite well. Personally I'm not sure the previous refurbished Italeri kits I've had are worth the price differentials, but you pays your money and takes your choice.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Supermodel, but they were always owned by Italeri.

Supermodel also did a Cant z1007.  2 versions - single or twin tail.
I have a twin tail in my stash and a z506 would go nicely with it.
Sigh.  Yet another Italian tri-motor to  buy... ;D

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Erm! no ---   Supermodel and Italeri were the result of the owners of Italaerei splitting and going in their own directions
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Was on Facebook earlier and Italeri are asking for us to send .jpg pics to them of new tool kit subjects you want. Here is a link to the page on their website. http://italeri.com/news_scheda.asp?idNews=681

Personally I'd like a 1/72nd AMX, Agusta A109A (SAS version) and maybe that Canberra B.2 the promised years ago!

On the bench.
1/72 Space 1999 Eagle, Comet Miniatures Martian War Machine
1/72nd Quad Tilt Rotor, 1/144th V/STOL E2 Hawkeye (stalled)

Dizzyfugu

1:72 AMX is a VERY good idea. A revival of their G.91 would not be bad, either (sold in a PAN set, the same mould as the Revell kit).

Often wondered why a Stalwart, Saracen or a Humber Pig were never produced by one of the major manufacturers. How about a XM808 or some of the Hotchkiss APC? A new Wasp or Scout in 1/72 or 1/48

proditor

They also recently started a World of Warships line, with some reboxings.

http://shop.italeri.com/Category/218-world-of-warships.aspx

As of now you can get Atago, Essex, or Bismarck, all in 1/700 scale.

ANY 1/72 Wasp would be good, it's never been done AFAIK.

Yeah, yeah, someone's probably done it in a vacform/white metal/resin combo, but I mean real, proper, mainstream kt.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The YF-23 was in the last survey they did a few weeks ago which was for reissues from the back catalogue. I voted for it on FB but it didn't make it. A couple of WW2 Italian tanks in 1/35th and a load of cars and trucks in 1/24th got through but IIRC only three planes, the SM-81 Pipistrello and SM82 Marsupiale in 1/72nd and the SR-71A/B in 1/48th.

Both of those were only issued a couple of years ago I think ? Got both in the stash and they are Italeri's newer style of packaging
