Captain Canada

Looking good, Dorko !

The old A/B-26 is one of those aeroplanes that just cries out to be whiffed. Almost grabbed the new Counter-Invader yesterday....maybe I should have.

I remember when the CDN Warplane Heritage had one done up in French Indo-China colours...man, could that thing move !

Med Sea Grey over Black (think early B2 Canberras)

Med Sea Grey over PRU Blue (I can let you have a tin of Xtracolour enamel !)

Sixties/Seventies era glossy Dk Sea Grey/Dark Grn over Lt. A/c Grey

Or go really nuts and do the Aden Scheme:
Glossy Mid Stone/Dk Earth over glossy Black with glossy white anti-radiation paint around the cockpit.

Or go really, really nuts and do one in a sixties era trials scheme:
Overall Lt. A/c grey with large patches of Dayglo Orange on the fin/wingtips/nose

Im also not sure about the wing tip tanks....looks a bit "boy racer"

I did actually think "the Aden" scheme, but Im leaning more towards the early PR schemes or similar.

PRU blue and gray....mmmmmmmm ;)  ;)

Enamel??????? e bloody namel!!!...........you'll be talking "garlic bread" next....if I may para phrase music of my era..." "we havent had that spirit here since 1969"....well '89

First try at that PR scheme, looks good on Camberras' ..it doesnt sit too well with me on a EB 26.

The exhaust "collar" will be black and I was thinking also of black for the inner cowling.

Black undersurfaces for the engine pods ala USAF????

Perhaps an  application off camo green to the top ?

Overall PR blue very dirty and weathered??

How about  top surface two grays and green "fictional" scheme.

I need input :dum:

Black exhaust collars, yep, sounds good to me. Even the whole nacelle, wouldn't look out of place in black, perhaps a black glare panel too ?

Try repainting the fin in grey, and having a dark green pattern on the uppersurfaces with a hard edge (like the post war Canberras/Hunters/Meatboxes) - I seem to recall you doing a Meteor, years back, with Med Sea Grey/Dk Green camo.

Overall PRU Blue - I'd be very wary of heavy weathering - PR machines were usually pretty spotless apart from exhaust stains. However a brother whiffer may tell me I'm totally wrong on this.

Fictional scheme - Hey, it's your model !! - go for it !!
