Oh meine Gott!!!

At first, I thought I was looking at computer graphics: the pics had that "better-than-reality" feel to them.

And that in-flight blurred shot----wow!!!
Stunning!

Thanks very much John!

Since this model was built wheels up I thought I would try a picture of it in flight, somethig I have never tried before.
Before I send this model to the owner I might get a few more pics of it so I can try more of these kind of pictures, with more practice I could make some convincing looking images.

the inflight shot is a real beauty - could pass for a real one any day.

Just a beauty Matrix.

I see you've posted it elsewhere as well.

Great work again from the master.

Beauty, thy name is Horten.

Matrix, why must you persist in excelling yourself? Producing such a magnificent nurflugel is fantastic! I love it!

JHM is right, too - photo #2 has a serious case of the CGI's!!

Love the in-flight! Well done!!

wot John said... Wow!
Getting back into modeling

Beautiful looking Horton, the in flights are, as usual, so life like it's incredible. Bloody well done Matrix.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Very nice build, the finish is spectacular, the inflight pic looks great.  I really like how you treated the engines too, that metal look is perfect.

Wow Matrixone another show-stopper! That in-flight pic looks real enough to fool an expert! I always look forward to seeing pics of your builds.

Thanks to you all for the very nice words!

My next two Hortens will be mine and they will be built with the landing gear down and all antenna intact with just a touch of weathering too.

The metal panels near the back of the aircraft were painted with Alclad II, this is the best product to use for painting any metal areas on a model...way better than silver paint.

I will be trying at least one more in flight picture of the Horten, look for it this next weekend. And I might try one with my Lippisch Li P 13a as well.
In the future when I build some Luft'46 jet models I will experiment with taking in flight pictures of them too. With some practice I might fool some JMN types at a different forum. :D

Matrix, I don't think it could have come out any nicer...
