Hawk update!

Hi all!

Here's my Hawk for the Airfix GB. She's gotten to the stage where paint can now be applied!

Hi again!

I got the Hawk painted today as I want to spend tomorrow and Wednesday with the Harrier. I started with the traditional SEA clolour scheme as worn by the RSAF A-4s. After I was done I noticed I left a sopt of black on the rear canopy and I've decided I liked the look of the black so I've added more to the camo so now its a 5 colour camo

I've also gone back and darkend the bottom colour with neutral grey...

Without the black component:

And with the balck added:

Bottom (pre black application to the toip colours):

Yes, very nice !

The jury is still out on the 4 colour vs. 5.....but they both look nice. Looking forward to seeing her all done up !

Thanx for all the replys (replies? Ah who cares the medication has kicked in)...
I may have to go back tomorrow and neaten it up because I tried to free hand the camo

But my main goal for tomorrow is to try and get 3 of the 5 colours for my USMC "Lego camo" Harrier on!
