I've been experimenting with some of the known Armée de l'air colour schemes for Africa. (E - G)

H is a softened version of D.

These are variations on "Stephanie".

Not wishing to be rude but can you get rid of the backdrop and post more of Stephanie please :D

What's the problem with the backdrop?

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Jschmus

I think he just wants a shot of the nose art, without the airplane.

Lovely Wyverna....just fabulous.

I think you may be right Jschmus.

Rory, you naughty, naughty boy!  Shame on you, now go to your room! B)

I would go with H, but the white border around Stephanie looks kinda odd, and the squadron marking around the canopy looks odd as well. To change things up I would use the two distriputive colors from E instead of the other two on H. So it would be medium-dark brown upper surface branches with pinkish-brown edging and then medium sand.

As a 19 year old male I second that motion!!! :P You could add her to the background like the F-20 behind the German and Japanese Tigersharks Sentinel Chicken did. :)

Hi Everyone!

Just a few more Wyvern ideas:

(1) A Twin-Wyvern (like the Twin-Mustang)

(2) A push-pull Wyvern (like the Dornier DO-335)

(3) A pusher-engine Wyvern

(4) A 2-engine Wyvern (like the Westland Whirlwind)

(5) A high-altitude version (with longer wings)

(6) A "Wyvern-screech" (like the "Thunderscreech)

(7) Wyverns equipped for mid-air refuelling

(8) Updated Wyverns (production lines re-opened)

Chuck

Well how about a couple of simple colour scheme requests:
  • RAF Pink for Iraq - either 1991 or present COIN aircraft;
  • USMC Grey - COIN for Iraq; or
  • RN Blues or Grey Schemes.

Regards,

Greg
All hail the God of Frustration!!!

There were plans to put a jet engine in a Wyvern, the Westland W.36, probably the only option not on your list Chuck!.  Don't think it flew though.  Anyone got any drawings?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

.. heres my take on the 'taildragger jet Wyvern' there was also a nosewheeled version proposed with a deepened undernose area to accomodate the undercarriage

... just a thought...how about a Finnish maritime patrol/strike Wyvern??? :dum:

... hm...could always add 'mistress manerhiem' noseart ... ouch!  :redx:

... i recall Sandy Brown (Tojo633) finishing a Fairey Firefly in a 'Finnish naval scheme' of mid grey and black camouflage with lighter grey unders with mid blue 'exercise' markings, looked sweet  B)
