Regarding that 1/32 Spit Mk. IX: Is it still too early to ask for a scale-down to 1/72?
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Looks to me like a real shake n bake kit that can be built in a day when you've got the modelling blues!

Complete with zombie driver!  There's a bad movie there somewhere...
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Green Dragon

I was looking at the boxart thinking "What is Mossie on about?" Then I enlaged the pic of the built kit.... Whoa! Serious zombie time!

Yeah, the eyes are a bit pink & the skin tone very pale, could be just the lighting but he looks right out of 28 Days Later!!!

Terry Ashley has updated his "whats new" page at PMMS and under the Tamiya section it appears that there will soon be a Japanese Navy G40 Komatsu bulldozer (1/48th scale kit #32565) available in late March.  There is an image of the model currently available for viewing at the bottom of the page.

I know it's not "new" news, but Tamiya have re-launched the 1/100th scale aircraft line, and I saw them in an LHS today: £2.75 each!

Lovely quality too. All jets, mostly modern, I can remember the Me262 & 163 set, the Il-28, a Fiat G.91, an F8, a MiG-21 (PFM? half-hump...), a MiG-19 with radar lips and AA1s, the Viggen (I nearly paid stupid money for an old boxing of that in Manchester Modelzone - glad I didn't now!). Others that I can't recall.
