I've got the office ready to go, but the fates demanded a sacrifice via a #11 xacto blade. Now that this build has drawn blood, everything should go problem free, right? <_<  ;)  :)

I think that's from the nose bleed he got when the missus smacked him for spending too many hours in the hobby room......

Looking good, Eddie !

It's going to be an almost out of the box, with a few minor changes. I am going to try to hang some ordinanace on the wings and if I can swing it, I'll beef up those pewnny legs for some carrier based gams! :P

The cockpit would have been cheery IF the front ins. panel had been the same size as the part it was meant to be placed on. <_< It will still look very cool B) once everything it buttoned up.

Why do I feel some horrid Monty Python skit coming on, now?  Did you ever sign your organ donor card, Eddie?

Nice 'pit, BTW!

I want to thank JHM especially for the (organ ;) ) donation of this bird to me for  this build. I'll try to do it justice. :)  Here's my progress so far. Next is figuring out what I want to do with the gear. how's this for a designation. F/ATSR-2B
( Get it? fat sir 2 be?) Or is it OU812. Just park it next to the GU11. I'll get my coat.....

If they knock on the door, and ask for your liver, just hand them one of your magnificent builds !

That looks veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery close to MY Eagle cockpit! Even the shade of green you used on the WSO's radar screen looks identical!

Great Work Mr M! Can't wait to see her done!

This is apparently the only way I will ever get any of my kits built: give 'em to some talented dude to finish!!!   :P

Looks good.  What do you think of the build so far, Eddie and Zac?

To be honest, it's about on the same level as a Revellogram kit. A couple of fit problems, but nothing a Dremel can't handle! ;)   How many of you spent the time to mount the vertical stab and have the little bast.... sorry,... tail break with the slightest bump. I guess you figured out it was me <_< . I love the lines of it. Next is gear mods.

QuoteThe correct designation is more likely to be F112B.  Lockheed were to be the prime contractor according to official documentation that TsrJoe dug out, although would the USN have bought Lockheed or demanded Grumman as prime contractor?

Will you be going for a single mainwheel or keeping the two?
Still looking at my options, but I want to keep both wheels on each assembly. I want to use a F18 elbow type strut. Gotta sturdy it up a bit. :)

Well since Reebock won the contract to supply the Navy with the new lightweight flying boot, they have. Reebok took one of thier trainers and modified a bit, forgot to dye the leather black and charged the Navy $200 per pair.... :P  :P  :P  :P
