Very very very very very very well done Mr M! Fantastico! Can;t wait to see her all lethal'd up!

I'm suprised. Normally that Air Superiority Grey isn't my thing. But on the TSR? WICKED COOL!!!

Eddie M.

Once again, thank you very much for the kind words directed at this project. I've got a bit more to report, and as you can see I've upped the workload a bit. I figure that JHM took the time to send it my way, I thought I'd try to make it a bit more convincing. ;) The flt dk is a piece of sheet styrene with holes drilled for padeyes and sanded with coarse sanding paper to give it that distingtive profile of the dreaded nonskid. When it's new, it's sharp, like coral. It'll skin ya to the bone....anyyyywayyy. Thats the look I'm going for. Now, I'm off to mass produce padeye stars. By the way, this is not to scale. I go by the look of it. ;)  :)

Very nice!  I've always been a fan of the Bounty Hunters and that TSR-2 looks great in their markings.
Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a poo-poo.

Now that the 1 week GB is over, I can go back to my normal speed, which is glacier slow. ;)    Got a little done on the missiles. Not perfect, but will work for my purposes. :)

Here's what the some of the missiles look like when hung. Just a little more tweaking to be done and then weathering and the flat coat. :)

The grime/hyd fluid on the landing gear looks terrific!

Is it going to be white on the underside?

I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING!! :dum:   Too far along now. Maybe next time I do a 70s ish bird, I'll remember.

With some creative masking you can still paint the underside.

Unfortunately, my luck and skills aren't that good. I'd be tempting fate to try.I do appreciate the positive encouragement, but I'm chicken. ;)  :P

Tonight I finally went ahead and tested my fix for the gap issue on this bird. I used white glue to fill the gaps and tonight I decanted some of the spray paint into a bottle and painted over the glue. Seem to hold just fine. Tonight is finally prep for the flat coat tomorrow. Antennas is all I've got left, I think. By the way, Sidewinders do look good on this aircraft, if I may say so myelf. ^_^

I have finally finished! A big thank you to JHM for letting me have this one to build as I saw fit. Believe it or not, this was going to be a Blue Angel, but you know how things change. Another thank you goes to Jeffry Fontaine for the Phoenix missiles. Those really added to the look that I was trying to achieve. Thanks to Wooksta for his input on the weapons station placement and to everyone else for stopping by to take a look. B)
