Very nice!  When you consider BAe's involvement with the Gripen and the fact that the UK's Empire Test Pilots' School (ETPS) flies them, this isn't that far from reality.

Forgive me, but I do believe I've fallen in love with Raspberry Ripple all over again! Almost makes me want to do that A-4E as an A&AEE machine...........mmm, Masking Tape! <_<  <_<

Fantastic build! The Griffon looks stunning in those colours. Just so perfect. Very, very fantastically nice!

Excuse my ignorance - what kit, scale etc?

Kit is 1/72 Italeri Double cab Gripen with a Tally-Ho resin tailpipe..  Decals from the Hasey Jaguar T.2 Ripple.  ASRAAM from Airfix weapons set, Meteor from RoG Typhoon and the Hellfire/Brimstone from the parts box.

Bitch of the thing (other than overspray and bleed under twice!) was coming up with the color scheme.  Normal Ripple is red around the rear end up to the leading edge of the vert stab.  With the Gripen's delta wing config the vert stab was way in front of the trailing edge of the wing so I had to bend the pattern a bit to come over the wings and join the red areas on the tips. Don't think it turned out too bad.

And as always a cheap digicam makes crappy paintjobs look professional!

Thanks everybody for the comments.  This one is one of my favorites but I'll never do it again!
