The Wooksta!

This has been on the burner for ages and got sprayed in a frantic burst a few days back.  Decals went on whilst I was watching The Sweeney on Tuesday and everything else today.

Straight from the box bar the addition of an ASH radar nose, kit decals apart from the squadron codes.  Scheme is that nice high altitude day fighter scheme of PRU Blue underneath with Med Sea Grey on top, apt for a radar equipped hunter.  I like that scheme.

And the box?  I tipped all the Meteors I had into one big box years back and the boxes were binned.

You're right, that scheme is quite fetching.

Great job Wooksta! I like those colours as well.

The Meteor is one aeroplane I've yet to build...gotta get on that one of these days. Looks like a good bird for doing touch and goes on the bureau before bed.......

That Airfix one is a nice quick simple build, easily available, and the whiffing possibilities are enormous. Grab one!

Any chance of a shot from a lower angle to fully appreciate the scheme?

I've always liked that scheme - looks good Lee.

My Meteor FR3 won't quite get finished in time for the deadline but she'll be along next week hopefully (just a few finish touches needed, but World Cup keeps getting in the way)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
