LOL! I've been meaning to pick up a nibbler too. I've seen it mentioned in a few different articles and have been tempted to order one from Micro Mark but never even thought about checking Radio Shack.

Great build so far and that scratchbuilding site is a real eye-opener!  Many thanks for sharing.

Oh, and as for the nibbler, as soon as I tried my first one, I bought a second as back-up.  Absolutely indispensible!

This is the master I carved for the canopy, and the first test run...the second one came out perfectly, and is drying after a dip in some future...hey, we're on a roll!

cthulhu77

Well, the arms are on...the weapon hard points are drying, and the missile rack is in RTV...guess it would be perfectly camo-d if the op was on Mars! (primer red)

BlackOps

Well the arms look a bit scrawney  :P

Can't wait to see this bad boy when he gets his weaponry attached!

Well, slowly but surely !  Airbrushed the camo this morning...cast the missile launchers...painting the weapons:

You need to re-name this the "Headbanger" cause it rocks!

I think he's got an idea there: "Headbanger" sounds cool and is appropriate for this scary beast.

Maybe add some big speakers, an auto-CD changer and some music from Eddie's collection?  B)

Just about done with the arm attachments, should have those on tomorrow. But, in the meantime, here is the cast canopy in place:

BlackOps

Very nice job on the canopy. Would it be out of scale to sink a few staples into his sides as handholds to climb up and down this beast? I'm thinking if your mech was damaged and powered down you'd want to be able to climb down.  Just a thought.

Missile launchers are on...as well as the two pulse lasers and the ultra autocannon :

Nice looking mech.
