hi all
here is my latest  idea...
the old stuka from monogram was not planned to build but as a test for the hasegawa kit I started a conversion with this bmw engine from the mpm do217 vacu kit , some left over dragon parts and some white milliput...build in two hours
now I will build this monogram kit because I will build two of them...one on swimmers and one as a carrier based version....with torpedo again? we will see  B)
and here a question...has anyone an old He115 from matchbox/revell? I need these swimmers for this project....can anyone help me out?
hope you like it...like me :D

cheers

Ohhhh YEAAAAHHHH! Great idea wolfik! I'm looking forward to seeing more progress on this one! I just love swapping inlines for radials and vice-versa. Excellent concept!

Captain Canada

Kinda funny looking so far. Almost like some kind of British 1930s bi-plane. Wildebeast I think......

But it'll be a little easier to imagine once it's got spats ( settle down, BdB ! )

Does look pretty good with that long nose. It's a mazing how you can make all these conour changes look so smooth ! Great stuff !

I have to agree with the good Captain, the smooth lines of all your blends is amazing!

Very interesting so far, looking forward to more!

Looks, to me, more Italian, reminiscent of the earlier Fiat types with a nose sloping away and a big radial on the end. Another great project developing here, methinx !

I simply don't know how you do it, Peter.

I am a mere Plumber of Plastic while you are surely the Michelangelo of Modelling: the plastic simply bends to your will!

Astonishing.

Wolfik,
Very interesting idea.  Looking forward to more pics.  You asked about floats from the Matchbox He-115.  I have that kit as part of the estate sale.  Are you sure they wouldn't be too big for this plane or is this the 48th scale kit?
Anyway, I am selling the kit for $15 + shipping and am located in the US (Utah) if you are interested.  Brian will give you an idea on how I do business.
