QuoteQuick bid for the P1154!
We may hear news about an 1154 at Telford if we can find the right people to talk too  ;).

Any P1154 news at Telford?

Sort of George, the MAM one from Paul Lucas appears to have stalled over funding as the SAM Publications management are not sure of commiting to a project like this as yet. Although the situation may well have changed since we chatted with Neil & Paul late on Saturday.

Whilrybird appear rather keen to follow on their P1121 and Bristol 188 with the P1154's next year. these would be based on the original maintrack vacforms and are not likely to appear before Telford 2007. The Navalk vacform wasn't too bad but the RAF version wasn't as clever so that could do with some modification.

Cheers

A Bristol 188? Cool! I'd seen the Whirlybird stand, but hadn't noticed the 188.

Do Whirlybird have a website? A Google search turns up nothing.

Brett Green at hyperscale has kindly built the kit for his site, have a look at it here:

Hopefully this will help promote the 'what-if' movement!
Don't know which version he will finish it as, I gave him a decal sheet at Telford, but the kit was built up a few weeks back before he had instructions and decals.
I also gave a review sample to Military In Scale, editor Spencer Pollard promised to built it up himself, possibly in the target drone colours. Only time will tell....
