QuoteFor a moment there i was really happy... :(
That's not to say it won't ever happen, but frankly I'd rather they waited anyway.  Let the airplane get in service and whatever external mods are going to be made get made before a model kit comes out.  How many times have they done a first prototype (or even a mockup) and been stuck?
I agree, but revell did the A-380 model ages before the rollout, let alone first flight... (but somehow, i see minicraft going for the 787, and revell with the A350XWB)

Not really "ages".  It was a matter of months, and the real article was accessible to them.  They had full cooperation from Airbus on that one.  Boeing is another matter entirely.  Boeing has more lawyers than Airbus does.

I wouldn't look for new airliners from Minicraft.  I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;

For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Cant see why they are doing a modern luxury motorboat in 1/72 !!!, might go with lifeboats or USCG choppers stopping a drug runner but does seem to be rather a waste.
I would have preferred to see another FPB or Sub in 72 instead, a decent PT Boat, Voeper, or maybe a Btit Sub !.

Agreed Thor, but there's plenty to build and the Hunter will no doubt be popular.

Don't hold your breath.  Scarebus is now charging Revell royalties like everybody else (whereas they used to underwrite kit production).  Also, the A400M isn't likely to exist in real life in 2009, so a kit would be a bit premature.

Yay! C-17s for the people! C-17 models that actually cost less than the real thing! ^_^

The Gannet is the only thing that gets me going on that list.

Though the reissue of the old Matchbox Dornier Skyservant is nice to see. I might pick one of those up for nostalgic reasons.

Wonder if the 1/32 Jetranger is the old Testors/Italeri kit, the 1/35 german tank destroyer is good news.

ive been doing some annalisis this morning and found that the A-400M can be made from revells new C-17A kit, but it will require a large ammount of scratchbuilding and custom molding, mostly arround the engines, props and nose section  :wacko:

here's a plan to conver it,
red = the parts required to scratchbuild, all i did on the c-17 is paint a black nose so you can see how the c-17 compares to earlier A-400M artwork  ^_^
