So do we reckon a 1/72 Lightning and Canberra ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Just noticed over at the revell website that revell is re-releasing some of teh old kits.
An Boeing 747-100 SAS markings with interior,
and an Boeing Super Sonic Transport (SST) with Pan Am markings!

Civilian whiffs anyone?

If you search further through their new releases, it seems that they're also releasing a kit of the Convair Tradewind flying boat.  Drool...

Yep. And the Jupiter C rocket as well. Cool!

For the dedicated scratch-builder, two of the engine nacelles and props from a Tradewind could be used as a starting point to scratchbuild an XA2J-1 Turbo Savage.  It is something of a temptation to consider.

Good times for the SST projects! After Concorde in 1/72 scale by Heller, here's the impressive american SST... a question, is there any good Tu-144 model available?
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Academy makes a 1/360 kit  (yes, its miserably small)

there was a VEB Plasticart TU.144 in 1/100 big and impressive too, as well as a Nitto release to approx 1/144 (the box said 1/132 but seemed to scale nearer the former!)

both harder to find these days altho sometimes appearing on dealers lists, ebay etc.

A few weeks ago, while watching the news on the television, they told about a new anglo-french supersonic passenger aircraft to replace the concorde!  :)   !

It was to be a bit slower, but much larger! Im headed off to find something on the net about it.

Edit: It was an French/Japanese project, not british  :(

What a waste of plastic doing another Lanc.  The Hasegawa kit may not be perfect, but I don't get the logic of doing another one two years later.  Especially when they've got cojones enough to reissue the crap old Frog/Hasegawa Lightning kit when the world CRIES out for a newly tooled one.  The Lightning would have cost an order of magnitude less to tool than a Lanc, and it's sorely needed and wanted.  Their Lanc is going to be the fuzzy bunny stepchild to the Hasegawa kit.

They really need to put me in charge of their product development, don't you think?

Mmmmmm, 1:72 Eurofighter   If anybody has the two-seater drop me a PM, I'd love to know what it's like..... ta !

Looking at all those new releases it's strange to me as to why RoG still insist on issuing (very) old kits like the Hasegawa/Frog Lightning and Matchbox Sea Venom, I suppose it's all about turning a fast buck/euro/quid/zloti for very little effort. Ahhhh well.

The Eurocopter Tigre/Tiger is up on HS, looks superb, according to the write-up there'll be an Aussie & Spanish version sometime soon..... not sure I can wait that long. Ho Hum another anti-tank helo to keep the Mangusta and Hokum company ! - I'm sure our friend Aircav has already invested in one of these beauties....

This does seem a strange repetition.

Oh, I just thought of how many FW190 and Me-109 variants that were manufactured over the years...and are still being tooled.

Now, THAT's what *I* call a waste of plastic.

Is it that hard to get an injection-molded FMA IA Pucara in 1:48 (can't afford the resin one)?!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Amen brother!  Amen!  I could kick MPM for chickening out and doing it in 1/72 instead of the originally proposed 1/48.  If I'd know he was going to do that I wouldn't have helped him with it (well, maybe..).
