I think I saw a Caliope Sherman in Italeri boxing a few years back, might be that.

QuoteThe Gannet was on display at Telford, and is in no way related to the POS Trumpeter kit.  It's far superior in every way.

Did you find out if RoG was including a weapons sprue in their kit, I don't see any weapons in the test shots.

Would be a shame to do the open weapon bay thing and not give you something to stick in it.

The Italeri Calliope was a re-pop of the Dragon Hull/running gear with (I think) Italeri's own Bazooka tubes. I built it twelve, or so years ago and it STILL has a prime place in my display cabinet. Excellent kit, if the Revell kit IS a re-release, buy-it, you'll love it !

Maybe an Air Defence version with radar, missiles as well as cannon?

Turret sorta like the Tunguska? That would be cool!

It could be developed into a whole series of vehicles:

Heavy anti tank vehicle: unmanned turret with autoloading 120 mm cannon. 2 man crew seated low in the hull. 6 soldiers in the rear.

APC: No turret, lots of soldiers in the rear

Sturm Luchs!  120 mm gun mounted in the hull. No turret. Sorta like a Stug  succesor

There is a link to the instructions and a 360 rotating view.

I was going back through some of the Hind camo's that have been done here.  Think this thing would look pretty cool in a couple of them.

The old Zvezda 1/72 Ka-58!  Hopefully the RoG kit doesn't have the flash that the Zvezda one had.

I built one a few years ago.

More pics here.

The ROG kit is the Zvesda kit. so expect the flash problems.

Ive had one in the stash for years, but keep putting it back when ever i toy with building it for some reason
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Been thinking it'd be cool to see both that and a Comanche sitting on a ramp together with both in UN markings.  For a bit more whif with a sf flaovr, put both in Co-Dominium markings.
