No, one of those Revell 1/32 Meteors and a Combat Models 1/32 U-2 = 1/32 PR19. 

Not sure where I'd find the 1/32 TF-33s though, but if it was that easy everyone would be doing it.

If ever a plastic car kit was designed for a slot car conversion that one was! I did just that way back in the 70s-80s, but the slot car racing has moved on since then. I'd love to do another one and I'll be looking out for one of those kits.

Monogram did the hardtop, albeit in 25th.  I did have it but moved it on a while back.

Airfix did a hardtop XKE as well, re-boxed Gunze Sangyo. I used to have one that I inherited from my Dad, like you I passed it on.
