Jeffry,

I think you'll find the 105mm StuG was the StuH 42, which was a StuG III (Pz III chassis) with a 105mm howitzer replacing the 75mm armament.  Dragon do a kit of the type which has a metal barrel & muzzle brake.

Is the Revell 737-200 a rebox of the Airfix kit?

Spey_Phantom

if your talking about the 737-800 kit, then no.
the -800 is a newmold and the quality is to good and to well detailed to be an airfix model.

Nope, the -800 is a new mold. Airfix never did the 737-800. I am refering to the 737-200 (old 737) that Revell did 3 years ago.

I've never known Revell rebox Airfix kits.  Italeri, Monogram and Hasegawa yes, Airfix no.

Ahh, just noticed the scale is 1/200, the page i saw it on listed it as 1/144! Most likely a rebox of the Hase kit then...

Interesting, is that a West German design? They never really would give up Jagd panzers, would they?

BTrip,

The KaJaPa was a post-war German design that I'm sure looked at their experiences with StuGs and Panzerjagers during the War.  It was later developed into ATGW armed variants known as RaketenJagdPanzer.

There've been three Rakete versions:

1. Initial new-build Rakete with two SS11 launchers

2. New-build Rakete as above, rebuilt with single, retractable, reloadable-under-cover HOT launcher

3. Kanone rebuilt with gun removed and TOW pedestal mount on roof

Yes, the StuGs had a very high reputation with the Germans.  As an aside, I remember reading proposal in the '90s for a modern day StuG type vehicle for the British army, especially designed for UN type work.  will try to find the details.

ı also remember an assault gun version of a British tank studied , from the back pages of land projects folder .It might be be a Challenger , ı don't remember now.

Well the AVRE's were to a certain extent "Assault Guns", although couldn't really be used in more "general actions". Not sure how flexible the Centurion AVRE's gun was though, so maybe that could have ben used as infantry support ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

So who's gonna do a Kajagoogoo KaJaPa?

So, now ive been trawling the net for a Danish internet shop selling Revell Aqua paints. After a few days of searching, ive have to give in and realise that the only Danish shop selling Aqua paints is the hobby shop in Copenhagen, which has no internet shop :banghead:

Anybody know of an internet shop with these paints, in Germany or the UK?
