Personally waiting for the Circus Wagon to come out.  Then I will have all the car kits I need until Round 2 releases the '66 Batmobile in 1/24th scale.

Would love to see Revell repop the B-52 with X-15 kit.  Think that would sell.

I've got one of those in the stash Philp  --- along with another seven B-52's (yes in 1/72 too plus one 1/144 one)

Modelstories has posted a list for first quarter releases. http://modelbox.free.fr/news/REVL2010_P/index.html
First bit is stuff due for 2009 then further down is the 2010 stuff.
Biplane fans will probably be happy to see the ex-Matchbox Hawker Fury Mk1 is being repopped, might get one myself. favourites for me are the Me P.1099 Heavy Fighter and He219 repops. Modelstories aren't sure of the mould for the 219 but the pic is the old Revell one and definitely not the ex-Frog kit as they got the windscreen completely wrong.

1/72nd Quad Tilt Rotor, 1/144th V/STOL E2 Hawkeye (stalled)

Wow - they're re-issuing Cousteau's Calypso!

1. That's going to have some investment collectors crying into their beers/bears/beards: those things go for completely silly money.

2. I've GOT to have one, having made a complete cock-up of it as a kid.

3. Serious whiff-points to the first person who converts it back to a French Navy minesweeper......

and i see revell is re-releasing its 1/144 Ajet, i wish they would do the samo for the 1/144 Mi.24 Hinds

QuoteRevell have discontinued the 1:72 Hawker Hunter Mk.9, which will doubtless have many crying into their beer/bear/beard/whatever. hannants have bought all the remaining stock

having enquired at work the belief is that Hannants have bought all the UK stock as it seems to be available in bulk from Germany !!
Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!

Rub it in.  I have 2 of the regular D kits sans boxes but batmancustoms was looking for one so pulled enough parts out for him.  That left me one but it doesn't have all the D parts.  Instead it has resin parts from Golden Dragon to make an H.  Think I will add one of my X-15s to the For Sale pile and hope for a rerelease as there is no way I can spend the money they go for now.

Sold my Calypso many moons ago.  It did come with the copter but I had lost the decals even longer before that.
Still think I need two of the Predator boats.  One RW with a few bikini babes on it and the other to conver into a gunship.

Pardon me if you already knew, but the Calypso really WAS a minesweeper before Cousteau bought her, hence my comment.  ;D One of the things that made it such a nice, but frequently-screwed-up-by-kids, kit was that it came with ALL the toys: helo, three mini-subs, diving bell, the works. Hence it tended to get thrown together and played with.....

Didn't know Revell did a 1/144th Hind. I've got a 1/100th one......

I wasn't aware that kids playing with models was such a problem?

Well with a ship covered in fragile masts and loose, loseable little extra vehicles, it doesn't take long before it looks distinctly second hand. Fine if that was the intention, minor tragedy if it wasn't.

Is the VeeDub bus tooled by Hasegawa?

Nope, new Revell mould.

Sure it's new? It looks awfully like a very old Revell one.

The boy bought this with his pocket money last week.  Its one of their pre-painted "easykits", and I have to say that unlike earlier Star Wars easykits, this one realises that just because its small, doesn't mean its easy for a young child to build.  This model is chunky and well built and has clearly been designed with the knowledge that small boys are going to re-enact the Clone Wars with it.  Its also surprisingly big - I couldn't see a scale, but I would guess its 1/35 or even 1/24 judging by the size of the Anakin figure.

For the serious Star Wars nerds amongst us, it is still pretty well detailed and provides a decent base for those who want to really tart it up
