The Wooksta!

Fuselage looks like a fit nightmare but they've got the breakdown right and from that basic tool, you can do everything in the 88 family from the A-1 right up to the Ju 388L-O with the right extras.

Wonder if the spare engines in the Hasegawa Ju 188 will fit?

that new F-15E would look nice on my 1/144 shelf
might even buy a few extra's to make a few F-15D's (including RW Soesterberg birds)

im kinda disapointed that they didnt include any targettting pods or air-to-ground ordanance, those are the Streagle's signature features  :-\

Looking at the sprue pics....is there a pert of the left hand sprue missing..? It looks as though the conformal tanks have the locating holes/dimples for the fuselage pylons to hang from....but no pylons or stores....seems strange......

^ The pylons are there. In the first pic, the long, continuous inboard pylons are to the left of the CFT parts, the short, separate outboard pylons are just above them.

Moritz

Whether it's their own tooling or a repop of the MPM kit is still open to conjecture.  They have reboxed one MPM kit in the past - the Condor Fw 189 (Condor being a subsidiary of the MPM empire).  Very unlikely to be the Frog one as that tooling appears to have vanished off the face of the Earth.

Someone on Flugzeugforum.de who has some inside knowledge of Revell says it's going to be the MPM kit.

Wonder whether the 109F-4 will be a rebox of the excellent Zvezda kit?
Cheers,
Moritz

Oh dear.  I had hoped it was to be one of Revell's own tools.

If its a Mk.4, isn't the history they give wrong?  It sounds more like that for the Mk.3 and the picture looks odd - perhaps its of the prototype Mk.4?  Looks like it has long nacelles but still with long wings.

Revell always have the wrong photo or artwork in the catalogue before the kit is released.  It's one of the late F3s.

Over on ipmsdeutschland.de, there's a built version of the first test shot of Revell's upcoming 1/72 Ju-88A-4. Looks rather nice! More pics >>HERE<<.

Moritz

From the test shots of the sprues, it looks like it'll trump the Hasegawa kit, certainly in terms of price and the way it's broken down means that Revell could do the entire family from the Ju 88A-1 through to the Ju 388L-0.
