Could well get another Ar -240 although I need to check what version I have in the stash.

I'm fairly certain that it was seeing this in Beatties in Holborn back in the day that got me back into the hobby. So it holds a special place for me.

The Wooksta!

You can get the older Ar 240C on the second hand market for under 15 notes. Several traders had them for about 12 quid at Telford.

Quote from: PR19_Kit on January 01, 2024, 03:31:06 AMIs the Mustang convertible a new mould? I can't recall that f5rom Revell before.

And it's a pity they didn't put the scale of most of the kits there, the Corvette C8 being one of the very few that mentions it.  :-\

Originally Monogram (hence 1/24) then Revell when they took over.  Of course it could be a new mould...

Still, makes a change from all those fastback kits.

Revell didn't "take over", Revell and Monogram were merged by the corp. that owned both companies. Revell operations were closed and everything was moved to Monogram facilities in Illinois. Revell was chosen as the merged business name because of better international name brand recognition, but the new company was Monogram in all but name.

The Do 335 is the Monogram 1/48th scale kit from
1974. It comes with the option to build the two seat version. I built it circa 1976.

Instructions from the original release.

WOT-8 in 1/35?
Using the old Italeri Katyusha launcher parts?

Quote from: zenrat on December 23, 2023, 05:23:17 AMThe 555 needs the engines inboard with leading edge intakes either side of the cockpit although it might be easier to knock something like that up using Vulcan parts.
Intakes from a Victor, engines exhausting over the wing like the Horten H IX/Ho 229/Go 229.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I've an original one not far from getting primer.

This kit has a lot of sci-fi potential. First thought is mounting two belly to belly to give an X shape and extending the nose.  Increase the anhedral of the gull-wing and even off the wing tips to hide its origins.

Sort of like the Romulan Warbird?

Cool.

Checked stash and guess what ? I have the nightfighter version and two of the standard fighter version, albeit it in a single box. Probably don't need another
