The Monogram 1/25th scale E-Type was originally an Aurora kit. This is the amusing
1970 release. You cannot view this attachment.

I missed the submarine set 1st time I looked. If the price is right, that seems excellent  value for three kits in one box. I'm down for the Artemis SLS as well. It's a lot cheaper than the Airfix one. The Hunter T.7 would be exceptional value at 50 Euros..

Ok, I guess we'll have to wait and see if the prices change when the kits are actually on sale but, I'm actually very pleased overall with the Revell 2025 programme. I'm in for ;
BV -222
Messerschmitt P.1099B
Arado Ar E555
FW-200C
Fairey Gannet
Arado AR-196
Artemis SLS
BAE-146
F-16A 1/32. Ok, I know its an old kit but, it's quite acceptable for its age and, very affordable. I don't count rivets and, kit's for a "what if " anyway! ;D

The ex Monogram NB-52D/X-15 combo is nice to see again  but, the price for this ancient (but still good) B-52 with a few bits of added bling is way out of my affordability range. I' was hoping top see the lovely Halifax B.III & Ju-290 kits  again but, as Revell seems to be working its way through the back catalogue, there's maybe hope yet.

Hates rivet counters! Eats JMNs for breakfast!

Stranger Things cars in 1/25. '85 Chevy K5 Blazer, '79 Camaro Z28, VW T3 Vanagon - all Monogram vintage.

I mention them as the Camaro and especially the Blazer haven't been seen for a while.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I've got a K5 sitting on my shelf ..it's either the Monogram or Revell one ..but I suspect it's the Revell kit.
Mine is a Las Vegas/Nevada Metropolitan police machine .
It's not a good model ...zero engine ..non opening hood / bonnet..terrible chassis.
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I've done a bit more investigating. Revell mention it as 'redesigned' and it includes an engine and hood, as well as parts to match the vehicle in the show.

The YouTube video I took the still from above has an unboxing.   From your description, it seems to be a major reworking, if any of the original parts remain. Might be worth investigating in the new one.

The same guy has built the the Camaro and T3, also reviews them in the vids.

Camaro Z28, changes to the original include a non T-top. Several options in the box so you don't have to do Billy's car.

T3 Vanagon, includes new grille for Argyle's vehicle but as with the other two kits you've got different options.

He plans to build Hop's K5 soon so it might be worth checking back.

What I think we've got here is Revell rereleased the old Monogram kit which I had many many moons ago ..that had all the bits ..engine..hood and so on ..I used to have a few dozen Monogram and Revell car kits ..cheap as chips back in the day ..now it's not chips ..it's a 3 cause meal at a posh restaurant  :banghead:
I could these 3 kits being at least a hundred notes or more each..easy .

The Stranger Things Blazer is a new tool 1/25th scale kit. The previous Revell 1/25th Blazer was a Snap-Tite curbside.

The Monogram Blazer is 1/24th scale.

A rough rule of thumb, that applies in
most cases:
if 1/24th, Monogram
if 1/25th, Revell*

*except the old Revell Germany which
did their original kits in 1/24th.

New Blazer sprues.

Atfer not paying any real attention to the K5 Blazer I've got since it was really made ( not the greatly) I decided to really look it over ..IE ..semi rip it to bits  ;D .
It's a AMT 1975 K5 ...that pathetic chassis should have triggered that switch 🙄
Also scored a Ford Bronco with it and that's for sure a AMT kit too ...but with opening hood and a full chassis too .
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

I won't be surprised if they get round to it sometime.

I was thinking the same thing. We had a couple of these in my squadron in the mid 80s. They were a step between the M151 jeeps and M998.

Looking at the sprue breakdown, the grille is on a separate  frame.  Looks like they're at least keeping in mind the M1009, or different years.

I do like that you get Hop's hat on that frame.

The one I might like another crack at for old time's sake is the Monogram "Vanpire", i.e. a black Chevvy van with a huge mural of a vampire on the side. I built one as a kid, and for once, made a half-decent job of it, but then the huge decal on one side tore as I was putting it on and ruined it.
