They're 1/144, Italeri don't do these in that scale.  Revell's Tornado is supposed to be one of the best kits 1/144 availaible & I can attest that the Hornet is pretty good, so they're likely to be based on their current kits in some form at least.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

^ Lovely Marineflieger Hornet you've got there!

Yeah, it would be great if they're indeed based on their own tools, but since the website didn't state anything specific in that regard, I wanted to point out that it's not 100% sure they're based on the new tools. And the fact they just popped up out of the blue made me a bit cautious. I was thinking more Dragon than Italeri, as they re-released a couple of Dragon kits earlier.

The Hornet was always meant to be released as a twin-seater as well, with the cockpit having two tubs and the second pit is just faired over.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

I can see all 3 joining my collection...the Beau and the Norseman as Biggles aircraft, the Privateer just cries out Coastal Command!!!!

The Norseman looks like good whiff-value-for-money, since it has floats, skis and wheels and two and three-bladed props.

I presume it's a re-pop of the old Matchbox kit (which I never had) right?

Correct - now all we need is the old Matchbox bi-planes

Indeed - not particularly into biplanes myself, but I understand that the old Matchbox ones are rather good, are they not?

They were great little models with the added advantage that the strut fixing method was simple and sturdy, ideal for kids and the clumsy  ;D

The Heyford is fantastic, and I believe the Stranraer was also very good.  But.........bring back the Wellesley!!!!!!  ;D ;D

The Stranraer was a great kit but it's the Fury, Siskin, Seafox and Gladiator I'd like to see again.

Modellversium.de has posted a kit review on the LKW 10t. mil gl (8x8 Truck), (1/72nd scale kit #031721) for your viewing pleasure.

The box art shows the vehicle with cargo which gives the impression that the kit might contain something similar but that proved to be false.  The kit does provide the canvas cover for the cargo bed but no cargo.

Useful kit for dios, there's a 1/35 kit avaialble of the 7 tonne vehicle in the MAN HX series too.  The British Army has recentely taken wagons in this series, not sure about these exact versions though.

I completely agree (bet that surprised a few  ). Those little bi-plane kits were simply beautiful. I recall a Fury and a Siskin winning the KIT class at the Nationals on subsequent years in the mid-eighties - may have even been the same builder. And a superb Wellesley built by Brian or Brenda Marsh in the late-seventies that made the cover of one or two of the monthly mags.

I also agree with our Terry, a Coastal Command Privateer simply has to be built by somebody here (not me, I haven't got the room to store it), and soon !.... Wonder if they'll bring-back the Ju188 and the He115 they were nice kits too - although a little heavy on detail, and their Halifax II was the only IM kit of that version IIRC.

Ahh happy memories of toy shops in the mid 70's
