modellversium.de has posted a couple of in box kit reviews of some older models that are once again available:

M48 and Scissors Bridge (aka M48 AVLB)(1/40th scale kit #000170).
Nice to see this one available again even if the scale is not compatible with the standard 1/35th scale.

Schnellboot Gepard-Klasse 143A (1/144th scale kit #05005)
Nice to see this version available again.  Hope Revell will release the Albatross Klass 143 soon.  The difference being in the weapons fit.  The type 143A has one Oto-Melera 76mm gun and a stern mounted RAM launcher while the type 143 has two Oto-Melara 76mm gun turrets and a pair of stern mounted torpedo tubes.

Modelstories in France have posted some sprue pics of most of the new Star Wars kits due shortly. http://modelbox.free.fr/news/SW2009_P/index.html
Think I'll be getting the Magna Guard fighter and the Republic Gunship.

It's a shame they don't make cheaper, unpainted versions of these kits for more experienced modellers, isn't it?

Revell has posted a 360 degree photo shoot of the Republic Gunship from the Clone Wars series.

Paint seems a little better than the recent kits but I think I'd prefer to strip it and repaint myself. Looks like all doors slide and rear ramp drops. Don't see the noseart girly that was on the Modelstories artwork (maybe done as a decal?). Probably get a couple.

KEEP THE VULCAN FLYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last I heard the Babylon 5 stuff was cancelled due to the license running out. Don't know if it's been sorted out yet. I think they were supposed to be released earlier this year (August /September time).

The MiG25 is supposed to be the same old kit as before.

I wonder which 1/48 Dornier Do 335 that is.   Was there a Matchbox kit in 1/48? I vaguely remember glueing together (yeah, wasn't much more than that  ) a 1/72 Dornier Pfeil by Matchbox fifteen years or so ago.

For those interested, I've posted in-box reviews of the 1/144 Tornado GR.1  :tornado: and F/A-18D Hornet >>HERE ON ARC<<. I think posting those here, in full-length would clutter up this thread.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Sweet ! Love the 144th scale ALARMs or whatever you call 'em. Got a few Harriers just crying out for those.
