US Navy!  As much as I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Merlin, the critter is just too big for most missions.

I wonder how long it will take for someone to produce a model of the new London bus, Boris has just launched?

Looking forward to riding that when it starts operating

Don't blame ya, it's a nice looking bit of modern design that retains the character of the original,
without being pointlessly 'retro'.

What glue are you using that you can hold a model like that? If I did that, the tailplane would just snap off.

Exactly. I didn't realise it was electric/diesel and apparently neither did the driver ! He ran out of diesel whilst driving it from London after the unveiling to a test centre  :banghead: You can imagine the "spin" that the press put on that  :-\
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Do you get feathered and un-feathered props then? The pair shown on the first sprue seem to be two of each.

I see it comes with prototype, French and German AF markings but not RAF ones.  :-\

I'll give it till halfway through January before THAT oversight is rectified by one of the decal manufactures here!  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Hi Kit
The second two sprue photos you get 2 of each spure so you get a full set of feathered and un-feathered props.

Expect to see an A-400M Atlas C1 boxing in 2013/14 Revell releases, knowing how they operate

Good ol' Testors Toxic glue in a tube.  Buy that stuff in bulk (like at least 5 tubes at a time).  I believe in the "old ways" when building (the worse for you, the better).

A lot of glues this side of the pond are crap because a load of morons started sniffing it to get high so the Government banned a lot of the ingredients that gave the idiots a buzz. Only problem is the glue don't work right anymore! Still use tubed Humbrol for some jobs but if you want something to stay together you need to use Plastic Weld or similar.

First time I used it was on a Hasegawa MiG25, I wasn't used to the consistency of it and it flowed everywhere! The inside got soaked but it looked okay on the outside until I'd painted it and then notice the thing was slowly melting from the inside!  :banghead:

I use the double ended Revell paint brushes as applicators, I have a couple, one as standard and the other I've thinned the bristles down so it doesn't hold as much solvent.  ;D

That's a great idea Aircav, I usually just chuck those brushes in a box and never see them again!
