The new tool 144th F-16 is probably a very good idea as all the ones I've seen look bloody awful!

ive been doing some math lately and i think others might agree:

revell 1/144 WW2 birds (BF109, stuka, spitfire,..) + an old or new 1/400 (or 1/350) carrier hull + 2mm thick styrene sheet + imagination
= Light escort Aircraft carriers
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Typo or could be James May wrote the description.  ;D

Or the ground crew in explaining the Flight Crew .

Still i had a look at mine yesterday and very impressed, its a big bugger but i'm glad Revell did it as its rather tasty and should look impressive on any model display. I wonder how some the crew on here will make use of those spare propellors ?

i'm thinking about the possibilities. but i feel its a nice touch of revell to include props in both fine and coarse pitch.

will have to take a look for the typo error on the box as i hadn't noticed it yet.

I was rumaging through the Revell.de site, downloads section when I found that you could download the Instructions for a Strikemaster!
It looked like the old Matchbox kit (Markings for Saudi and Oman) Can anybody tell me if its been release already? or is it for later on?

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Last I heard a group of modellers got a tour of the factory a year or two ago and were given some Strikeys as a gift that were a very short test run in rather fetching sand/brown (or was it black and brown?!?) riple coloured plastic but were told the mould couldn't be used for a full run because of some technical reason IIRC. The sprue picie posted looked almost pre-painted for a COIN job over Africa!
Hope they can fix it coz I liked that kit when I was little and only have one left.

Ask Hobbes as it was the Dutch IPMS who had the tour AFIK and he was rather impressed

Thanks for the info
Shame it won't get a general release, it was a nice simple kit as I recall, just right for some Whiffery ;D

By the time I'd said to my boss, Gary, keep me a 555 to one side we'd sold out but we are getting some more in.  ;) ;D
