I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hannants currently have the 1/72nd BK-117 medevac helo on sale at a very reasonable £4.66:

I got this from my local branch of The Works £19.99 instead of £49.99

http://www.theworks.co.uk/p/toy-models/revell-model-kits---mistel-v-ta154-and-fw190/4009803048246

They also had these in as well for £9.99

If you got through their online shop you can get upto 30% on the above prices depending on what their offer of the moment is ....I paid £6.99 for my last Bear from them I think
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

The 117 will be a nice little kit. Could do some Lakota derivatives as well no ?

The BK117 is the old matchbox kit Captain and has quite a lot of differences to the Lakota. One did get trialed by Canada as the CH-143.
Think this latest boxing has extra sprue with winch and ambulance interior. Heller do a UH-72A kit that is supposed to be better than Revells
civvy/Police versions.

The Ontos is the old Renwal kit, Academy does a much newer kit in 1/35.

Personally I'm likin' that the Showboat is coming back and the all-new Torino
is tempting.

I built that Renwall Ontos for a model shop window dispay a zillion years ago, small but neat.

And the Showboat re-pop is great news for the drag race car builder, LOTS of spare parts all in one box.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

NARSES2

That clear Mustang takes me back.

As for the Ontos I remember getting one for Christmas probably in the early 60's. Fond memories of it and the 105mm howitzer with its little diorama base I got at the same time  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Amazingly I found I STILL have a Renwall 'Big Six' self-propelled gun unbuilt in The Loft! And I may just build it for old times sake. Can you WHiff one? I haven't a clue about armour so don't know if it's even possible.

I want the Torino even if it ends up being a Snap Tite. Owned one that was was former Fire Chief's 'Unit' and have a lot of memories, fond and not so fond.
