I like that idea! Cross kitting the FROG, Revell and Airfix Shacks could produce some real JMN confusers.

Oh Yes! A fully armed, front canon and mid upper turret, AEW-3 Phase 3, complete with a yellow P marking would really blow their (tiny) minds.

I'm intrigued by the Chaika! I wonder whose it is?

I rather like that idea.  ;D

Any suggestions for a colour scheme?

As it happens I have a couple of Frog Mk 3s, an Aeroclub Mk 2 conversion kit and a spare AEW2 radome as well.......  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Wooksta!

I'm ahead of you guys!  I've an assembled Frog Shack with the AEW radome in place - there's little or no ground clearance with the u/c as is, so replacing the nosegear with one from a Vulcan is a must.  I'll be using a Vulcan maingear slightly modded as I've just located one and the idea will work...

Mid upper?  No need for it but an observation blister may be a better bet.  But definitely keep the nose cannons!

Oh man...that was good ! I loved the scene where it flew into the camera plane, and then when it emulated the bouncing bomb ! Funny stuff. And I thought the same thing about the Expeditor.

New stuff in at Hannants. The selection of vehicles in the Bunderswher set is interesting: 1950s style!

i bought the Osprey last weekend, and from what ive seen, it doesnt look like any osprey mould ive seen.

EDIT: after some searching, i found out its an Ex-Italeri mould.
i managed to find it due to the "068" serial on the moulds, typical to Italeri's kit.

https://www.scalemates.com/kits/957669-revell-03964-bell-v-22-osprey

its based on this kit:

anyway, when i bought the Osprey, i also bought the 2 1/144 vehicle sets, ive posted a review over on KG144, if you want to i can post it again here?

I got a reply yesterday morning from Revell, firstly apologising for their tardiness, secondly confirming their upcoming 1/72 Hawk T.1 is a new tool:

Quote from: Revell of GermanyThis model kit we did a few years before, when we cooperated with the Italian company of Italeri. But we found out, that the 1/72 scale "Hawk" was not that correct. So we decided to do "our own" model kit, taking all the CAD design from our big 1/32 scale Hawk. This brand new model kit will be shipped to the market late this month under item no. 04921 and, of course, in the version of the "Red Arrows".

The Stearman will be the recent, and very nice, Revell kit that has been released in two different versions over the last couple of years.
