Depending on price, I think it'd be worth stocking up on a few of them.

Yup the S.H. kit is quite nice
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I think I'll have to one or two of those.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The link isn't working for me I'm off to check their page

Revell o. G. is obviously running a poll/contest concerning new model kit ideas:

Looks as if it was not limited to German modelers, so feel free to add some exotic stuff. ;)

Well just submitted one for a new 1/72nd C-130 E/J Hercules tooling fits in with their Transport, used globally for over 50 yrs, actually going into service with the Luftwaffe to complement Atlas and replace Transall. New accurate tooling is long overdue and clever design could have them produce multiple versions.

AC-130 with all the variants covered with an extra sprue or two seems like a no-brainer for a second boxing. EC/HC/KC/MC variants could also yield a boxing or two, leaving room for even more exotic variants if there's demand.

Green Dragon

I asked for a 1/72nd Jetstar. Next month will be a C-130.

Just voted for a C-130. Even if its a vanilla model it will be an improvement and could be converted into anything else.

Although a updated C-130 E/J kit makes sense and even love the idea off an injectionmolded C-140, i think I'll choose a MiG-19/Shenjang F-6. This is a significant aircraft, one of the first supersonics, wide spread and many decal options possible, but much neglected as kit. Fits great next to their MiG-21 (early variant), small size and very welcome to the community as Trumpeter announced one back in 2014 to be released in 2015. But it still isn't released!

The KP, Mastercraft and Heller are available but are so, so. The Bilek kits are great but rare as hen's teeth....

The Plastyk MiG-19/F-6 ain't bad. It's a reincarnation of the KP kit, with engraved panel lines - Matchbox level, though. Sound scrude, but a pleasnat surprise. A new 1:72 mould on par with the Revell MiG-21F would certainly be a good offering.

Thorvic

I think the Mig-19 may have been overtaken this year by the Q-5 Fantan as Trumpeter have announced three versions of that in their 2017/18 catalogue and one even has the boxart which is a fair sign its in active development. It may lead back to the original Mig-19 kit coming out, but this is Trumpeter after all !!!.

As for the C-130 there's the original models in short and stretched fuselage, the special ops aircraft, polar aircraft, tankers, then there's the updated, re-engine J series also short or stretched and special mission types, so there are multiple options Revell could play with if they so desired. It was a familiar type over Germany and now going into service with them which might give it the local critical mass to instigate the project. I don't see it on Airfix's immediate radar and it ties in with their Transport types as a stablemate alongside the Transall and Atlas kits.

Given that the old Airfix kit is old and ruined and Italeri own both the tooling's for their own and Esci kits, neither of which are very accurate on par with todays kit standards.

New 1/32nd P-51D, suggested Europe price of €39.99, Tower Hobbies (Revell parent Hobbico's US distributor/retailer)
has it as a pre-order at $26.95.

Those prices just go to show what a total rip-off Hasgeawa's prices are in the UK.

That Mustang looks magnificent, and it's 1/32 scale and 2/3 the price of Hase's 1/72 Avenger.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
