Interesting to see the Revell Hunter listed as 1/48 and not 1/72.

They were definitely talking 1/72 at Telford. Wouldn't a 1/48 version need a new tool?

Or a rebox of the Academy kit perhaps?

Updated list is now out. It seems to have been a typo and is actually 1/72.

There's not a great deal there to take my fancy this year, i get the feeling the mainstream manufacturers are going to be light on new tools with ranges filled out with alternative versions, re-issues or re-boxing others.

Nice to restock Hunter i guess,  :o

Very much so, I'm down to one.  :banghead:

But it'll be expensive, naturally................

ive recieved this list in the revell newslatter today, not much to my intrest except a few things.
as said before, im getting the 1/72 Belgian F-16 and im gonna stock up on Hawker Hunters.
the german UFO it a definate go on my list, would look good in the Luft46 collection.

the AN-225 is definate must have, but it will depend on the retail price, but i will most likely not get it due to shelf space shortage  :-\

The Wooksta!

The Spitfire Vb - is this their 1996 tool or a modification of the mk IIa?  Neither fill me with any confidence...

I'll have a pair of Hannebu UFOs though - they'll go nicely with the Modelcollect P.1000 Ratte.

The artwork shown for the Hannebu is identical to that on the Wave kit box.
And it marked as a collaboration so its a near certainty that its a re boxing of the Wave Hannebue I. If so its a very nice kit.
I always hope for the best.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

German guy "In the know" on Britmodeller says it is the Wave Haunebue kit. The Bronco is an Academy repop but at £17.99 on pre-order it's too pricey for me, got 4 A's and two D's in the stash anyway so don't really need more. Decals would need to be exceptional to pay that. Also suggestions over there that some kit announcements have been held back for Nuremburg.

Revell have a sale on their website with some impressive price reductions: https://www.revell-shop.de/en/Products/SALE/2/

Bear in mind that these are shipped from Germany and shipping to the UK is EUR 13.95 (£12.37 at today's rate). If a few people want one or two things it might be worth putting a combined order in with one lot of shipping and then splitting it up once it gets to your country. I'd be willing to do that for people in the UK if there's enough interest.

The price reductions seem to follow a standard pattern:

EUR 49.99 is reduced to EUR 30.00
EUR 39.99 is reduced to EUR 23.00
EUR 29.99 is reduced to EUR 17.00
EUR 24.99 is reduced to EUR 14.00
EUR 19.99 is reduced to EUR 11.00
EUR  9.99  is reduced to EUR  6.00
EUR  7.99  is reduced to EUR  4.00

It wouldn't take many items at those sort of discounts to justify the postage.

Mmmmm, Interiim HOTOL....

MAKS also.
I always thought that the An225 had six engines not eight :banghead:

KiwiZac

My guess is it was a concept to provide a bit more oomph when lifting HOTOL to altitude?
