I read recently that the Ukraine and China are going to put the 225 into production

Bit late but Hobbico, Revell's parent, have applied for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection whilst they restructure the company.

Now as far as I'm aware this doesn't affect Revell of Germany, at least in the short term and Chapter 11 is a method often used in the U.S. in order to give a company some breathing space so we will have to wait and see.

RAF Centenary boxing makes it "special" in their view. Some of the other Centenary boxing prices are also a bit steep in my view  :-\ And this comes from the guy who normally goes out of his way to try and understand companies pricing policies

At least the Hunter has two schemes both new to the kit, the new Eurofighter Typhoon just has the one special scheme and no standard option or additional weapons sprue for UK load out !!!

As I've said before (and been shouted at for it....) Corporate Greed Rules OK.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The Wooksta!

Revell can insert the Hunter where the sun don't shine.  I have a considerable number in the stash and another 3 in the secondary.  More than enough, and that's before adding in the PJ kit and the two rare as hen's teeth Skybirds ones.

19.99€ at the Revell.de site, plus 13.95€ shipping to UK.  ;D

$16.95 on the Tower Hobbies site:

Tower, like Revell, is part of Hobbico, so the pricing makes ya go hmmm.
Of course the US price has no VAT, as it doesn't exist over here.

That's an outrageous shipping price to UK from Germany, someone's taking us for a ride.

Or would be if we were so stupid to fall for that kind of profiteering.
