- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

This kit has alredy been issued as the Adamski UFO in 1/48th scale, the military hardware is deleted and a 1/48th interior sprue was added.  Can't remember if it was Head & Hand or Wave though, may have been both?

A total moron, that George person, if there ever was one.  :banghead: I regret talking to him.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

TheChronicOne

Ha!! You were there?  ;D   Fancy that.

I left a single , somewhat neutral comment, then left.  Brad M. You can send me a FR if you want.  ;D ;D

I left it out of the screen grab here because I didn't want to seem self-serving.

Head & Hand -> Wave -> Revell

It's interesting that the re-popped Hunter is only an RAF FGA9, the different gun muzzles and Sidewinders and pylons are not included in this version, and both decal schemes are RAF, 8 Sqdn. and 54 Sqdn.

And it's now in a TOP OPENING box!

The instruction sheet is in a new format too, more colourful and after the style of the more recent Airfix sheets.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

I knew Revell had changed their instruction sheets for the better, but wasn't aware of the new style box. That's a positive, all they need to do now is to do something about their paint references :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Well, there's a big chunk of my money guaranteed to be missing.  Like I'm not going to get this... I have the Ruslan already, it's just natural.

Here's the dumbest question ever, because I recently heard it a different way on a TV show, but how is "Revell" pronounced? Like "bevel" or like "Chevelle?"

Thank you! That verifies that I had been saying it wrong all these years.  Very cool to learn something, however so I'm not too embarrassed.
