aside from the 1/144 747-100, nothing really exciting, hopefully that will change when the full release list comes out on newyears  :-\

I'm quite glad to see the re-release of the old Matchbox Char B1 and Renault FT17, might pick up a set.

There's also a 1:72 Trumpeter Char B1.

Yes, I'm particularly interested in the Revell kit as I'm also keen on the FT17 that comes with it.  I'm a fan of WWI armour, I've got a couple of the recent First to Fight Renaults, I'd like to see how the Mactchbox compares as it's still considered a bit of a gem.

M40 GMC chassis has lots of potential for whiffing.

I'd like to see them repop the LRDG set again.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do they include the old diorama bases in the re-releases ? Always thought that was a great concept by Matchbox.

Yes I thought that too. WWII APC was the first idea.

Obviously you could put different guns on it. A Soviet 122mm D-30 would be interesting: back story could be that some M40s were exported to a third-world country that then turned communist. US cut of the supply of 155mm so they used the chassis to make their D-30s mobile.

I believe so, they have in past boxings.  They also include the broken bridge in the Sherman Firefly.

Cheers Mossie  Might keep my eyes open purely from a nostalgia build point of view

there have been a number of other re-issues announced.

including the 1/72 F-104G with Belgian and Dutch markings and the 1/72 Shackleton MR.3.
for the latter its not clear if its a re-issue of the ex-Frog kit or an updated version of the newer AEW.2 tool.

Good to know, I hadn't realized that and was baffled at the huge price difference with the An-124.

It'd have to be the old FROG kit really, the Mk 3s were radically different to the Mk 2s.

Nope they are pretty sure its a new tool based on the MK2 kit as the Revell kit was configured for different versions, thus the separate fwd fuselages

That's a heck of a lot of work then, and they've stolen a march on Airfix there.

That would be good as I already have the Phase 3 conversion set to use with one.
