I don't think that will fit, the Mk3 has a deeper bomb bay and nose profile .
Not to mention a different cockpit canopy.
If you are contemplating using the Revell AEW. 2 parts on the Frog/Novo
MR.3 they are not compatible.

If you actually read the original posting by Thorvic it says that the kit is based on the Mk2 kit which means that they use as many of the parts from that kit as they can and as the front part of the fuselage is separate then it's easy enough to have different parts that are specific to the Mk3 as the forward fuselage is where the majority of the differences between the two versions are!
As for parts from the Frog/Novo MR.3 not being compatible with the Revell AEW. 2, Rubbish! Sure you can't just fit the parts together from one kit to the other, but if you wanted to mix and match then there is nothing wrong with modifying parts from one to match the other and you should know if I remember correctly as you have mixed several unlikely kits together and yet your saying that two different kits of the same basic aircraft which are to the same scale are incompatible........... shame on you McColm

All I'm saying is the Revell Shackleton AEW. 2 cockpit seats don't fit the Frog/Novo Shackleton MR. 3 without a lot of fettling. However the Airfix Shackleton cockpit parts is a better solution. As they are thinner in design.
I agree my kitbashing has improved over the years.

30 years and 3 days after it first flew!  Hard to believe it has been that long, I still remember being awe-struck when I saw the first photos of it rolling-out.

I can remember it coming into Farnborough one year. It was SO big it seemed as if it was standing still and us and the rest of the world were moving toward it!

When it landed the wings kept on going down LONG after the wheels were on the ground too.  :o

Chances are it's probably a combo pack of the Special Armour SS-100, V2 Meilerwagen and
A4/V2 kits.

They are playing it a bit safe this year.

I look forward to the MiG-26, saves faffing around with conversion sets to make that particular version.

The Mig-25 is just a re-boxing of the ICM kit, which may possibly be already out, the advantage of the Revell boxing should be the quality of the decals and stencils.
