I need to have a lay down in a dark room. It's made me realise my work isn't done.
As they say at home,
See those two houses on that hill? Wel,l the middle one is mine.
Whose coat is this jacket hanging on the floor!
Wales, 400 hundred miles of coastline, all facing the sea!!!!!!

Ifor(that's pronounced Ivor. One f in Welsh has a v sound, two a f sound)

That's brilliant! I used to live in Woonsocket, RI where there's a lot of French-Canadian ancestry, and they say things like
Side by each
Throw me down the stairs my keys
Next time you cut through my yard go 'round.

I find such regional usages quite fun.  :)  Oh - and the town name is pronounced "One-socket".
Thistle dew, Pig - thistle dew!

Where am I going?  And why am I in a handbasket?

It's dark in the dark when it's dark. Ancient Ogre Proverb

"All right, boyz - the plan iz 'Win.'  And if ya lose, it's yer own fault 'coz ya didn't follow the plan."

1/72 Shackleton MR.3 by Revell is now confirmed from Nuremberg:

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Now that is awesome, well done Revell.

Change those Griffons to Tynes and that's the MR.Mk.4 sorted.

Mark 4 was supposed to be Napier Nomad diesel.....see fruits of 3 seconds detailed research and study here :-While the Nomad II was undergoing testing, a prototype Avro Shackleton was lent to Napier as a testbed. The engine proved bulky, like the Nomad I before it, and in the meantime several dummy engines were used on the Shackleton for various tests.

A further development, the Nomad Nm.7, of 3,500 shp (2,600 kW) was announced in 1953. The only project, the Avro Type 719 Shackleton IV, based on it was cancelled, work on the engine was ended in April 1955, after an expenditure of £5.1 million.   (Wikipaedia)

But four Tynes at over six thousand horses apiece would make a quite remarkable mark 5. I'd love to see it when you make it!!

I think that's seaweed

Slightly more relevant.  But still an odd thing to put on display with it.

Revell is also bringing back the 1/160 steam paddle boat, would make a great Confederate States River Navy aircraft carrier (thinking of naming it the "CSS Robert E Lee")  ;D

It would be interesting to see who releases the Shackleton  MR.1 to go with the set?

You can get MR.1's from AlleyCat Models as well as the T4 version which is based on the MR.1
