No wonder the price of secondhand kits has increased,  everyone is after the decals. I still wish that they made the ATL2 Atlantique .I'm not too sure whether or not you can still buy the conversion set.

ive been thinking of getting one, and convert it into an airliner!  ;D

It's got it's own rear steps and you will need a blanking plate for the dipping radar and a few more windows along the fuselage.
I have experimented with a pair of turbofan engines and the 1/72 BAe Nimrod AEW.3 conversion set which does fit,  a concept that the British and French did consider but none were built. The rotodome from the Grumman E-2C Hawkeye does fit on the roof or a ground attack variant with a double barrelled rotating gun under the nose.
I built my version of the Breguet Br1250.

Awesome, but can we have one pantographed down to 1/72 too please.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Modelcollect had plans to release the whole Blackbird family in 1/72, not heard anything recently though.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

One for us with an interest in Vietnam War models:

Not at the cheap end, but what're you going to do? - at least one is now available.

Yeah ... Nah! Wrong scale. Needs to be 1/35, to go with the Tamiya PBR 31 Mk.II

Well as a one-true-scale die-hard(ish) i'm going to respectfully disagree: there's a lot you could do with that little beastie and £20-ish seems about par of the course these days. The 81mm mortar/.50 cal combo is tailor-made to swap over to a technical, and you could have some fun moving the cabin to the rear to mount an alternative weapon on the bow.

I might be tempted back to the tiny scale by that Hunter. Built a few in the past and it's a lovely little kit.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Find it a tad annoying that the Star Wars releases, the Mandalorian Razor Crest and Outland TIE Fighter and the Boba Fett ship (renamed, no longer Slave 1) are all in different scales.  1/72 for Razor Crest but box scale 1/56 and 1/87 respectively for the other two.  Would have been nice to have all 3 in 1/72.

Razor Crest is probably a new mold, the others could be repops of earlier stuff

The TIE at least is going to have a lot of new content because it's the folding wing version first seen in Mandalorian. Might as well have made it match the Razorcrest.

The Outland Tie Fighter (whatever that is) is reviewed in the latest Airfix Magazine and is the original kit with so much new/revised stuff that it might as well be a new mould apparently. Gets a good review.

I know nothing about Star Wars I'm afraid I was at the "just to old for it" when the franchise first appeared. One of my nephews however
