These are some slightly more refined composite pictures, the biggest problem I have now is finding suitable photographs to use for the backgrounds.

Why do I have this feeling some governmental types are going to be knocking on your door one of these days?

Trenchcoat #1: "This guy's getting good."

Trenchcoat #2: "Yeah, a little too good."

Trenchcoat Leader: "Better acquire him---be sure to have him working on our side..."

Thanks John!

Can't wait to fake out a JMN or two at the other site next year.

Thank you Jeff!

Wait until I get more experience at these kind of pictures and make better models and then I will start having some fun at the expense of some of the so called 'experts'.

Matrix your work just gets better if that's possible

In a few years time people will believe the Ta183 was operational because of your photographs, stunning stuff

Chris,

Thanks for the nice comments!

This could help the ''What-If'' movement by showing the rest of the modelling world that our type of models can look as realistic as their 'real' models and are actually FUN to make.

The ''What-If'' movement is growing thats for sure, since I joined this site I have noticed other modelling sites have more what-if types being built than ever before.
Sadly (for me) not as many Luft'46 models as I would like to see but at least they are whiffs.

This past year I only have built one 'real' a/c model {Bf 109K} and the rest have been whiffed in some way or other and have had a lot of fun building them.

Ahem to having fun Matrix

It was probably Luft 46 that brought Wiffery "out into the open" so to speak. Plus the availabilty of the Revell Luft 46 mainstream kits (I would have loved to be at the management meeting when R&D presented that idea  :D ). Now the fashion has moved on a bit, but it was models of the caliber of yours and many others on sites like this that made the majority of modellers realise you can wif a kit and still be a great modeller.

Thanks again Chris,

Yes Revell had a very nice line of Luft'46 kits for a while and no doubt helped the whiff movement but DML had some good Luft'46 kits too.
Back when Luft'46 was 'the' big thing in whiff models I was still into flying RC models and not building any plastic models but would still read the magazines and noticed some of the ads and articles about the DML and Revell Luft'46 kits and after the loss of my RC clubs flying field I returned to building scale models. At that time I was not able buy very many hobby things because I was going through a divorce and my employer went out of business so getting very many kits was not easy for me to do.
Now that I can afford to buy new kits the Revell, DML, and Special Hobby range of Luft'46 kits are no longer being made and Luft'46 what-ifs are not popular anymore. :(
But I was able to get a few Revell kits before they were sold out...Arado E555, BV P194, and Me P1101 Nachtjager.

In a few days I will have some new pictures to post, I caught a very bad cold and have been down the last couple of days so I was not able to experiment with my pictures like I wanted to.
