Comrades, stand proud and witness the latest triumph of our beloved Rodina in the defense of Socialism!  The 1/72 MiG-21PFMK which began life (believe it or not) as a 1/72 MiG-21MF from the Socialist neighbor company of KP.

Comrades, I had already listed the changes/improvements involved in navalizing our beloved MiG-21, but allow me to relist them as you peruse the photos of the completed aircraft:
-Fuselage-
Single ventral fin replaced with twin ventral fins (to provide clearance for tailhook)
Cooling intakes on ventral fin repositioned with new fin configuration
Arrestor hook installed
Large pitot boom removed from nose
AOA sensor fairing retained on nose portside from MF configuration
Revised dorsal spine to PF/PFM standard

-Wings-
Wingfold delineation on equal line with inboard edge of ailerons
Maingear wells deepened and enlargened for clearance for larger legs
Bulges on upper and lower surfaces to provide space for bulkier landing gear
Plate installed above attachment points for maingear legs
Wing panels outboard of wingfolds increased in area with lessened sweep
Four-pylon system arranged under outboard panels
Pitot boom moved to wingtip
Landing lights repositioned forward of maingear bays

-Landing Gear-
Maingear legs rebuilt to strengthened, bulkier design
Maingear doors enlarged to match increase in well size
Nosegear leg replaced by bulkier unit
Nosegear oleo leg lengthened for raised nose profile

-Paint/Markings-
Uppersurfaces camouflaged dark blue/blue-gray/light blue-gray
Undersurfaces painted in dark green anticorrosion paint similar to Yak-38's
A-VMF (Soviet Naval Aviation) flag marking on forward fuselage

There are more photos, comrades, but I fear I may have overstepped the bounds of propriety in my enthusiasm for this wonderplane of our Party's instruction.  I shall now step down and cede the floor to my socialist bretheren and their equally stunning contributions to the glory of the Rodina.

Za Rodina, my brothers!!!

Radish

Truly a stunning socialist example of glorious Prolitarian workmanship along Marxist-Leninist lines.
How wonderful to see the speedy construction achieved by the engineers, right under the noses of the Capitalist-Imperialist Dogs and their lackies.
Very impressive, Comrade.

Up the Revolution.
Right up Castro.

Well done Comrade! A truly excellent machine with which to stop the capitalists from attacking us!
As those imperialist running dogs might say 'Sweet, dude!' ;)

Comrade, if you would like to take more pictures and do a write-up, I will be more than happy to post it as a feature article in our upcoming update.

Comrade Andrei Ivanovich

May I add my congratulations for such a magnificent machine. This will surely enable us to rule the seas and keep the imperialost-zionist scum cowering in thier place. A truely superb example of soviet workmanship

Excellent work, Comrade! :D

How about a Naval Foxbat? (any decent 1/72 MiG-25s?)

Comrades,
After further examination, I have found that Comrade Tomsky has the Mig-25K project firmly in control.  I will thus concern myself with the Mig-27K.

Yeah, yeah, what he said: more pics!

You have made only one error, Tvarisch:

Clearly, the incredible detailingks and precise usages of airbrushingks on this stunningk model should be provingk that it must be in 1:48 (Kapitalist) scale and not the 1:72 (Motherland) scale indicated, da?

It is simply too good to be that small!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.
