With a fair wind I reckon I'll get her done this weekend.  Just things like the radome & undercarriage detail to paint - probly finish that this evening, then decals tomorrow....

After all that agonising over which squadron to do, in the end I did the first one off Jennings' sheet!  :dum:  (not that there's anything wrong with that - we love what you did J  B) )

Unfortunately, those 45 Squadron Bars you sent me Steve are too small :(  I'll keep my eye out for some 1/48 Hunter/Tornado decals to add at a later date - that forward fuselage looks really bare with just a roundel.

You know what I like to say about "a fuzzy digicam hides many a modelling sin".  Throw in some poor lighting, and no close-ups and she looks about half-decent.

ie, this isn't my best model.  The black bits especially, my Tamiya Flat Black just would not co-operate, behaved horribly :(  Newish bottle too.  Throw in all the kits problems and my usual combination of laziness and bog-standard skills.

And yet, like a mother forgets the pain of childbirth, I am already forgetting how un-fun this kit was to make.  Hey, its a TSR2!!!

Now, where did I put those Saudi decals.....

Last one for luck.  Steve, I'll give you those decals back at Telford.

I like it Nev! Looks smashing in that camo paintjob and squadron markings! It's a winner, even if it lacks spats.
Cool stuff! B)

And as far as the transfers go, just keep them I'm sure you find something to put them on, got some 1/32 ones if they are any good  ;)

Thanks guys.  Steve - I have 1/32 45 sqdn markings, that was what started me on my quest for some suitable sized roundel bars.

Lee - especially appreciate your compliment :)

Very sleek, very believable.  Great job, Nev!  Realize the troubles you had with their fit, etc. but, in the end, you made it look like it came from a shake'n'paint Tamigawa kit.
