I've been talking about this for a while and it's time to get started. Here's a crude mockup.

It's an Academy B-50D fuselage with wings, engines and horizontal stabs from a Trumpeter Badger-C.

Bear with me lads, this could take a while...

This is the curse of speed;  I have been a slave to it all my life. On my gravestone they will carve 'It never got fast enough for me'.

That's great! Simon R is back... I wait your models impatiently. The four-engine Flanker, Tri-engine Typhoon and Avro Vengeance really impressed me...
I think I'll follow this thread carefully...
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Simon,

That looks hella cool!

And considering that the Soviets did essentially the same thing with the B-29's they captured (stretching, modifying, and upgrading them through a whole family of aircraft) it's not that far off!

It'll be sweet to see the thing all built and finished.

Wherever you go, there you are!

With a T-tail, it will look terrific!!!

If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die

May I suggest a more mid-tail mounted hort. stabs?

Do I hear Handley-Page Vigilance?
