QuoteI name it the Vulture.

I see that also. Kind like when a vulture is feeding.  ;)

Thanks to you guys for the kind words on a build that is nothing but bare bones. I will try to do it justice. ^_^

This one has finally spoken up and given me a little direction. After I replace my water heater today <_<   , I'll get some more done. I'm going with no cockpit, so I can concentrate on the body work. I've lenghtened the intake trunk on the third engine because............IT said so. The intake trunk is the aft fuselage of a F-104 a few bits and pieces of the old KC/135 (used in the KC/B-17) for the curvy parts :P  and a F-16 intake.

No, I'm taking the lazy man's way out and just gonna paint the inside of the canopy blue, kinda like a desk top display.

Awwwwwwww....send it to me: I'll build you a cockpit, even if I have to do it "ship-in-the-bottle" style since the fuselage is already together!

And you can do my vacform biplane wings, struts, rigging, canopy, etc.   ;)

:P

It's just a little, um, freaky, how you can cobble bits together from different kits and come up with something that works this well.

Woah Mr Miller another amazing bird you've got in the works there! I think you could teach a Master Class on how to Listen to Models.

Yer on! You're also welcome to split the fuselage back open to do your magic. Plus, you'll get to see 1st hand just how Romper Room my builds really are! :P  ;)   As for finishing your vac u form, sorry I have enough torture models here already.

Okay, I'll be packaging starting tonight. Would like me to send any other parts with it? The wings, the gear, the PSR! ;)

Just the fuselage, cockpit interior bits (never know what I might need) and the canopy pieces including the HUD.

Oh, and some new knitting needles.  The points on my old ones have become dull.

That "Legend Production" resin cockpit set should be here about the same time your fuselage shows up...

Can't wait!

LOL. Black Box are coming out with replacement resin knitting needle tips.

Eddie, if you want, JHM could send it to me to paint when he's done with it. Then I'll send it back to you for decals.

This is the curse of speed;  I have been a slave to it all my life. On my gravestone they will carve 'It never got fast enough for me'.

That sounds like a good idea. I think I'll have to do a bit more work if that's the route we go. I have an idea. Maybe we could find some one to make a multi-nation decal set, kinda like the first F-16. Make this aircraft a kind of prototype demo for multi nation sale?

Oh ho, BB resin needle tips!!!!

If Eddie is comfortable with the idea, I can mail it to Simon R (whereabouts do you call "home" Simon?).

This is reminding of my original mult-national collaborative group-build idea from way back...
