I stand ready to provoke a bitter fight with Madame R. the moment it arrives here so she will shun me and I'll have time to concentrate on this.

That sure looks like it's gonna ROCK JHM!!!  Simon, I'll be posting some pix and questions for ya later, after I get done putting a Lego Batmobile together. Evan turned 5 on the 26th and he's got lots of new toys that require my attention. ;)

Can't wait to see what comes out of this International All-Star Team. I just wish I were talented enough to get in on something like this. Oh well, I can still dream.... ^_^

Having seen that photo of Mrs R, I think she'd win over models any day  ;)

Hey Simon,
From a painter's point of view, would it be easier for you to have me put the pieces together or send them to you to put together as you prefer? Here's what I have as far as ther main parts go. I'll send the Eagle elevons just in case you would like to use or modify them.

You asked about my idea for the B-25/ P-51. Well.... I was thinking of chopping the aft fuselage, making it a twin boom and adding the P-51 nose as a pusher prop.

Here are my latest purchases so I can start building 2 Tomcats in the colors that I know and love from my days on the Ranger(VF-1 &2)

Eddie,

Just send the bits and I'll put it together. I'm doing a prototype paint scheme on a spare B-17 wing at the weekend. I will send pictures to you and JHM for approval as you have the Design Authority on the SF.

Twin Boom Pusher B-25 = YES

I'll be boxing up all the parts this weekend and I'll throw in a few extras just in case you need an alternate for your portion of this international shindig. ;)

I can see lots of cutting coming today!  The entire aft deck has to be removed to accomodate the resin piece.  Ought to be interesting...   :o

Oh yeah, the SEAT too:

Thanks, guys!

I was more than a little intimidated about cutting into someone else's kit parts in order to fit the "Legends" aftermarket resin cockpit (which is designed for a different kit, no less!).  Plus, I've got only Eddie's one kit here (unless this is the same as the Monogram?) so any slip of the knife will be fatal.

But then I starting thinking, "Man, trepidation isn't how Eddie approaches plastic" so, before you knew it, there was styrene flying all over the house with no less than three tools chipping, gouging and spin-cutting it.

Coming along so far, so good:

That's what I'm talking about!! Don't worry JHM, that's the old Revellogram B.A. kit. I get them for $10 bucks at Walmart. Got 2 more in the stash, as a matter of fact. Remember cut it like you don't own it. ;)
