Awesome detail work, Mr Howling Mouse! I'm enjoying watching this one come together!

Cockpit is done and in place (you would not believe how much chopping/modifying it took to get this to fit!), canopy's coaming is done, fuselage and weighted nose all glued/taped up.  I won't put on the HUD (kit-provided one is too chunky and out of scale but anything else that is scratchbuilt would be too fragile to ship).

I'll leave the PSR bodywork to yourself or SimonR prior to painting.

It can be left as a "closed" canopy since Monogram's fit is so good but you'll be able to simply remove it to show off the office a little better.

If I can get to it while there's any natural light left, I'll post pics tomorrow.   ;)

Pics!

First, without canopy coaming in place:

And with the canopy coaming in place.  Eddie, you'll be able to drop the canopy with its coaming in place (the fit is better than in these pics where I had let the coaming slip a bit out of place from moving it around).  Then you can simply slip off the canopy/coaming whenever you want to better display the office.

My favorite pic of the completed cockpit/fwd fuselage:

Superb work Barry!

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Thanks again, gents.   ^_^

Eddie, she's all packed up as follows.  Hey, this is how a scratchbuilder packs things!   And your original box has in turn been re-packaged with crumpled paper, packing nuts, etc. within a larger box for additional cushioning protection.

Inside, there's a small round foam disc to protect the point of the radome as well:

I hate you guys sometimes. I look at your work and feel woefully inadequate!

(fortunately that doesn't apply to any other part of my life  ;)  )
