I was thinking about it getting lost or misdirected that banged up enroute (wouldnt want the kit falling into the wrong hands, yknow )

The sad part is I'm one of those suckers that believes it will get there intact and free of troubles. Besides, it just a model, right?

I sent stuff by surface mail to the UK when I lived in LA and it sometimes takes a while (6-8 weeks) but it always turned up.b It'll be fine.

It's really something special to hold a JHM/EddieM original with your own hands. I feel like the time I first saw a Picasso in person.

The workbench resembles Fallujah at the moment due to marathon wet sanding on the 1/24 CATOBAR Harrier. I'll get the SF on the bench in the next few days...

UPDATE!

The CTOL Harrier is now finished and the Scrambled Fighter is front and centre on the workbench.

Unfortunately... I having a slight situation at work involving fraud, industrial espionage, several court cases and a strike which consumes my every waking hour.

But... I will get to the SF in the near future!

I'm working on it! I'm building some wing spars at the moment. This thing has to make another trip across the Atlantic and I want to build it as rugged as possible.

It's very nerve wracking working on something into which other people have put so much time and effort. The consequences of a mistake don't bear contemplating. I feel like I'm performing eye surgery on Keira Knightly.

Looking good! Don't worry about any mistakes, although I doubt there will be any.   Feel free to make any mods or adjustments you deem necessary. Just do what you do and we will have a kick arse model when your done! B)

Eddie, does that section of the third engine with the air brakes come from a 1/48 Starfighter? If so, what kit? Rather than just filling the recesses I'll buy whatever Starfighter kit it is so I can steal the parts and we can have the air brakes open.
